About our Soy Wax Candles . . .

Back in 2005, one of our students introduced us to the benefits of soy candles, wherein the wax comes completely from soybeans.

All natural, being made from soybeans, not petroleum oil
Burn cleanly, without black smoke, soot, or residue on the glass
Asthma and allergy friendly
Wax burns completely, leaving a clear jar when
finished
Burning time is almost twice as long as parffin wax
Beautiful when lit, with an attractive, clear layer of liquid wax on the surface
They symbolize our inside practice and can serve as a reminder to us to continue our inner work until we are truly happy and free

And so we began to make them here at the Center for use on our altar.
From there, many students began to admire them and asked us to make extras next time so they could offer a donation for them and take some home for their own altar, dining room, kitchen, office, bathroom, etc. or to give as gifts to others. The beauty and meaning combined create a special gift for any occasion.
