Some examples of Suffering: the feeling of fear, anger, jealousy, dissatisfaction, discontent, irritation, dis-ease, etc. and much more.
One simple example: I want X but you give me Y. I am angry.
Where is the suffering?
Is it because of:
A. “you”
B. X
C. Y
D. Anger
Can you see that usually we blame “you” or X or Y? But the actual felt experience of suffering is the anger. OK, now, one needs to continue to practice to find out what is anger, where the anger comes from and why it happens, until one day you will find out the root, the nature of the suffering.
Do
you have suffering? Sure? Ask yourself the following questions:
v Are you ever afraid? Do you experience fear?
